Private Lessons
Basic Fundamentals - Hand-Eye Coordination - Advanced Lessons
If your child is just getting started, a private lesson or two is good to introduce them to the basic fundamentals
of the tennis game. The goal is to make sure they get the proper hand-eye coordination and court awareness skills
to successfully compete against other kids.
If your child is an advanced tennis player who is either already involved or has aspirations to compete at the tournament
level or to challenge for a spot on their high school team, then a weekly private lesson becomes
necessary need for their development.
Junior Drills
First Experience - Group Lesson - Tennis Introduction
When it comes to a fun first experience with tennis, it is important that your child is part of a group
with other kids of similar level of play. Radu takes great care in assessing every child's ability to play
and assigning them to the right group that will provide the most exciting and fun tennis experience.
Group junior tennis drills are a fun way to introduce beginner children to the game of tennis in a
safe environment together with other kids their age. While tennis is an individual sport, it is best learned
in a group setting. Getting your child involved in a group drill is a great way for them to meet kids their age who share the same interest in tennis.
The benefits that your child will derive from playing tennis are numerous.
On a mental and emotional level, your child will have to learn how to
be focused which will transcend into other areas of their life. On the
court, your child will learn to think several steps ahead, adapt quickly
to changes, anticipate their opponent, and implement winning strategies
- all valuable skills to get them ready to compete in other sports. Your
child will also learn to be a humble winner and most importantly he will learn
what it feels like to get better at a very challenging yet fascinating
sport.
Radu's overall approach to teaching juniors is to introduce sound fundamentals of tennis technique
in a game based setting allowing your children to learn advanced tennis techniques while fully immersed in competition.

Attaining Tennis Potential - Dedication and Hard Work - Commitment to Attain Mastery
If your child is engaged in junior tournaments and in weekly organized drill sessions yet you as a parent are still looking
to supplement your child's preparation in order to give them a chance to attain their potential as a tennis player,
then you might consider a weekly private lesson with Radu.
Radu's methodology of teaching is based on well defined skills that your child is expected to master,
understand and internalize to the point where they become muscle memory. The staple of Radu's teaching is helping your
child develop a big forehand and then build the rest of his or her game around it.
